Dennis but do was my father from the age of twelve until he passed in 2012. We had a rocky start as I was a young preteen who had been the only guy in the house from the age of seven. Over the years we grew to love one another, and when he was diagnosed with cancer we all thought he would make it. He was so strong. Not just emotionally but physically. He was one of those people who looked like a twig but was much stronger then he looked. I'm not going to lie and say he was this perfect man. But he learned and free from his mistakes and by the time I turned 18 he was a great man. I didn't have the courage to call him dad until he was on his deathbed. And he smiled and I felt the life leave him as I held his hand. I'll never forget that feeling of liteness from what were once such strong hands. I miss you dad. Also he is the one on the left in this photo.
