Staff pretend to like you and if they don't want you there, they will make up excuses to terminate you from the company. They pay you a low wage and expect you to fulfill all of their requirements to make the company look good. The Talent Search & TRIO program are horrible and only care about the numbers and recruitment goals to meet in order to keep their grant funding. They do not offer any health, dental and vision benefits unless you are working full-time as an employee which is thirty hours to be consider full-time. There's no opportunity for growth with the company. I knew someone who has been with the company for three years and she wanted an academic advisor position in which they did not give to her. They will use you for your talents in order to make the company stand out and once they get what they need, they will not keep you around. They never give you constructive criticism on how to better improve and the project coordinators will pretend to look out for you when in reality, they will talk behind your back to the director so they can find ways to terminate your employment.
