tester for a few years Pay isn't competitive I did not enjoy my time working as a tester The QA managers were extremely unhelpful. Very poor leadership The advancement was slow to none with no conversation on why or what could be improved on. Basically very poor communication skills The other testers I worked with were arrogant yet unskilled. I knew I did not want to stay as a lifer at Sirsi and become like them. But the skills gained at Sirsi helped me with my current job. I had to learn these skills myself as no training was provided by the QA department. More people should have spoken up about the issues in QA but I wish Sirsi luck with this in the future A lot of scrum masters were too inexperienced (they are working on this) I agree with the other reviews on: health insurance was too high
