LOOK AT YOUR ALTERNATIVES! Low patient case load, leading to job insecurity RN supervisors too young and lack solid experience. Supervisors not a good support for the in-field nurses on many levels. Information presented in orientation is contradicted by behavior of much of Viva's staff. Failure to follow through after receiving complaints about incompetent nurses in the home, not only complaints by family members, but also from experienced and level-headed nurses. Patient care should be the priority. If someone is afraid to do their job, they should not have that job.
