I Witnessed the Death of a Good Company It is truly sad what has happened to this company, because Irving Farm's coffee buying practices are great, and their position in the industry leaves space for them to create a lot of good while also expanding the business. But, the owners and upper management are deeply flawed, cannot admit when they are wrong, cannot stand up for what they say they believe in, and do not actually have respect for their employees. I used to make a lot of excuses and try to steer them in the right direction. Besides being ethical, treating your employees well is also better for the financial health of your business. They were intentionally blind to a lot, and turned their heads away. Willful ignorance. A lot of great employees and talented people fell victim to this company. Everyone is replaceable. They are absolutely ruining the brand they said they cared about.
