Horrible experience Where do I even start... This agency is a joke. They lure you in by pretending they are all about women empowerment, they try to make it fun with their little office parties and barbecues, but really... it?s an office full of catty, gossiping women...mainly the higher ups and senior program directors. Don?t even get me started on the CEO. She is a nightmare. Do not look at her, do not talk to her. Follow the ?chain of commands?, or you?ll get an email from your supervisor. The last 2 reviews are laughable?clearly damage control. NO, there is absolutely no room for growth. You?ll get hired on as a program facilitator and if you?re lucky you can get promoted to program director position, but that?s about it. And no, they don?t give a crap about your personal life/family. You?re expected to make girls inc your whole life, especially in the summer when there are a ton of camps going on. This is the most unorganized and unprofessional way to run a nonprofit agency. During my short time there, I went through 4 supervisors (senior program directors). They have no clue what they?re doing. None. Sure, the programs they offer are amazing for girls. That?s literally the only rewarding thing about this job. Girls inc is not a good start if you?re fresh out of college. Please?for your mental health?do not accept an offer with them.
