Supervisors and higher ups talk to you like you are their child, they are very disrespectful, they state you can?t eat from 2-7 on schedule calls but even when asking to get something to eat or even just some water it?s still a problem. Dispatch speak to the EMTs and Medics like crazy. There?s no raises.... they watch the cameras in the trucks all day every day listening to your conversations with your partner although it?s suppose to be there if you get into accidents. If you get off at 7 and it isn?t busy they will still hold you back and give you a call that schedule for 9pm but will let an 9pm crew leave at 8pm. The trucks are horrible if you not in a sprinter then just know you going to be having problems with your truck. Down to the breaks up to the lights sirens etc esp AC! Again they don?t care about their employees. If you get sick on the road or if you have an emergency where you have to leave... you won?t be leaving they don?t care. They don?t follow their own handbook that they use to give out. The supervisor have their own rules then higher up have another set of their own rules and if there?s a new rule no one bothers to give the employees a heads up but will just write you up for it. No brace period. One min late your late and you will get written up. You have on supervisor who only hires who she think is cute. You have people there that?s been there for 3/4 years getting 16 an hour no raise where brand new EMTs coming in to 17.50. The place is a hot mess and the owner needs to really fix his higher up staff because there?s a lot of illegal stuff they doing to their employees which isn?t right. And there?s no growth. You can be there for 6 years and you won?t become anything but a brand new emt with no experience in anything will be a supervisor. You pay for a union who doesn?t do anything nor help with anything. They always changing your times
