Save yourself Everything here is a con. Especially the owner. Not only is it a con to have him as a boss but he is a CON artist on top of it. The first thing that they do is draw you in with promises of six-figure income and benefits. But that?s where the lies and secret begin. There may be one or two people on the sales force that earn north of $100,000 annually. The rest of the sales force averages somewhere between 30,000 and $50,000 a year. And that?s assuming you are willing to drink the Kool-Aid. As far as the benefits, they tell you that they pay for half of your health insurance but I was being charged almost $800 a month for health insurance for a family of four with a $13,500 deductible. In order to make $100,000 a year annually you have to start by fully embracing their sales system which incentivizes you to overcharge and forcibly sell upgraded products to customers who don?t want them. If you are unsuccessful in selling these upgrades your income is directly affected negatively. The sales consultants that they use are some of the most arrogant people I have ever met. They will encourage you to buy expensive and outlandish things so that you need to continue to sell to make money to keep up with the lifestyle change they try to make you have ie. ? go buy yourself a brand new truck? ? You can?t sell good without a Gucci belt?. Crap like that. As a w-2 employer they also make you Buy your own tools. Go get a microscope and a moisture meter. And a laser pointer. And blah blah blah to be able to ? properly? run the sales system they force you run. Pretty sure that?s illegal but maybe I?m wrong. If they are going to force you to use certain materials then they should provide them. They are great at promising you the world and then falling short every time. They will micro manage every move you make. They want to know where you are and what you are doing every minute of everyday. They set ? goals? ( which might as well be quotas) for you every week. If you fall short then the ?own? your Saturdays. I could go on and on but this has already taken up enough of my time. This place sucks. Run fast before they suck you in with promises of sunshine and rainbows. Because all you will get is rain storms and earthquakes. The amount of turnover on the sales team should be enough to scare anyone away. They have maybe 1-2 guys that have been there longer than a year or so. That?s becUse usually within the first year everyone see through the BS and head out for greener pastures.
