Two Faced! The people at the helm of RYOT have turned out to be pretty two-faced and have burned a lot of people who they've worked with over the years, including their employees who generally all start off as excited and with much to contribute? having been attracted by the seemingly great cause. However, this is not a cause that is central to operations. It may have been at one point but now the place is more of a "vanity project" for the founders than a mechanism for effecting true change. The founders care more about the celebrities and partners they're trying to attract and rub shoulders with than their own employees, right before their eyes, who are trying to make the dream a reality. Never mind the supposed less fortunate people overseas they're meant to be advocating for! If they can't see the real needs of their own employees beside them, they sure don't truly care about those overseas or just generally: people. They care about themselves. Pay was scant, paychecks were late, advancement opportunities were promised and then taken away. It's a really lame place!
