Completed is the world's first standardized rating system for all people in business. Search for someone and rate them. If they don't exist, add them to Completed.
Everything about the company is incredibly unprofessional and disorganized. Nothing is handled in a timely manner, there is so much unnecessary stress and chaos that would so easily be avoided if only the CEO was more organized and professional. Everything is done so last minute for no reason. She seems much more interested in her own image (i.e.will make you pitch stories on her over stories on actual clients) than she does her company. She will also force you to go to many non-work events, usually on one or two hours notice with absolutely no details. If you try telling her you already have plans, she will force you to cancel them (yes, personal plans - she doesn't believe anyone other than her should have a personal life). The pay is not good to begin with, but she will also pay you as an independent contractor without telling you, meaning she doesn't take your taxes out. I think she does this to avoid paying unemployment taxes. She also doesn't give any benefits, no health insurance, no sick days, no personal days, no holidays off and no lunch breaks. This place doesn't feel like a real company - the CEO treats the entire business more like a sorority than a company. All she seems to want is to hang out with the staff after hours and on weekends (and she doesn't pay any overtime). She doesn't prioritize the work at all, but will berate and yell at the staff when things aren't getting done (after she makes you spend hours running her personal errands). For some reason she refuses to hire an assistant, so if you're hired as a "coordinator" you are really being hired to walk her dog and take the trash out. You will not gain any knowledge about how the industry works, especially if you are an entry level employee. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone who wants to get a foot into the entertainment industry. Oh yeah, all of the positive "reviews" on here are also written by the CEO who forces the interns to post them so that the company doesn't look as bad as it is to prospective employees...don't be fooled! All I will say is, if you want to work in entertainment PR, this is not the place to go. You will not learn anything about the actual industry or the PR world, my advice is to try and find a job at one of the more established companies who know how a PR company should run. There is a reason that most of her employees quit after a few months.
