Danny joined Index in 2002 and established the firm's London office. He later opened the San Francisco office with Mike Volpi. His current investments include 1stdibs, Discord, Farfetch, Figma, Glossier, GOAT, Good Eggs, Grailed, Humu, Patreon and Scoop. After dropping off the Midas list for a year, Danny Rimer returns in 2019 thanks to a brace of IPOs. File-sharing and collaboration firm Dropbox went public in March 2018, while luxury fashion site Farfetch listed that September. Not discouraged by Amazon's massive presence, Rimer has also continued to target the retail industry, funding direct-to-consumer brands Anine Bing and Josh Wood Colour in 2019, as well as Grailed, a marketplace for men's fashion. He is doing a great comeback! Another of his investments, make-up brand Glossier, is now valued at $1.1 billion!
