Overworked and underpaid Low pay for the amount of work required (lesson plans, newsletters, evaluations, activities, parent communication, decorating...this was easily a 70 hour work week-tons of work had to be done at home.) curriculum was a joke and we were expected to lie to the children's parents faces about what their children were actually doing. One thirty minute break for a nine hour work day. Not allowed to use the restroom. Staff were blamed for accidents or child illness. Humiliating staff meetings. Nepotism and favoritism was overwhelming. Management acted like they were doing you a favor with a 20 cent raise. Never ever paid for OT even though it was on staff's timesheets. One of the worst places to work in Jacksonville. Extremely high turnover rate. This is a badly managed daycare, NOT A PRESCHOOL.
