I regret taking a position here Slow computers *Clunky phone system *Constantly understaffed *Negative, discouraging environment *Feels like working in a sweatshop. We all sit close together with no dividers, so it is difficult to have more than one phone call going on in a room without the client on the other line hearing it. *Very demanding, unpleasant clients *Have to figure out how to do the job on your own quickly or you will get fired within the first month. Co-workers can be helpful sometimes but everyone is always so busy. Managers were recently promoted to management positions but they still have their own client work to do so not only do they not really know how to manage a group of employees since this is the first time they?ve ever managed anyone, it?s difficult to get them to explain things thoroughly because they are so busy and don?t really like to be bothered. I wish there was a dedicated manager/trainer that was there full time to mentor us as a resource. *I have panic attacks at least once a week because of the stress of this job. I am miserable. I was told that this would be more in line with what I wanted to do from a business analytics standpoint but really it just turned out to be giving compliance and filing support to independent RIAs who can?t afford a full time compliance department. *I wish there was a healthcare plan. The stipend that we get barely covers a fraction of my health insurance premium. There is a dental plan offered but it is subpar. Doesn?t cover wisdom teeth extraction and my last visit for cleaning and a few fillings cost over 1k. I had to put it on my credit card. *I can barely afford rent with my pay even though I do the same if not more work than people getting paid double than I am making. I wish the compensation was standardized and made public across the firm. There is no transparency when it comes to salary and we get in trouble if they find out that we are talking to other coworkers about compensation.
