Worst company I have ever worked for.
First of all the review titled ?excellent company? is an inside job. They are trying to boost their ratings. Management has no idea how to manage people. They think employees are animals or slaves. You are not allowed to talk to your co-workers. You are allowed to ask your co-workers for any help related to computer problems. They will blame you for EVERYTHING. To reiterate my point about treating people like animals, temperature in the whole building is set on 71 but the north side of the building is on 64. Because managers can keep portable heater in their office. They will make sure all employees work full 8 hours with their Jackets on. They take micro managing to the extreme. It seems like managers have absolutely nothing else to do. They are just trying to find the smallest mistake you make. At the end of the day ask you manager how many times you used the bathroom and they will know the exact number. Benefits are horrible. $900/month for just medical insurance for two people. 2 weeks vacation and 401k will start AFTER 1 year. They will never tell you all this until your first day at work. And guess what, this only applies to regular employees; managers will start their vacation from the first day and only work 6-7 hours/day. There is only one manager (James) in the whole company who actually knows how to act and work professionally. Constant nagging and talking before thinking is part of R. A. Siegel?s culture. Everyone has multiple job duties. For example, an office worker will do desk work and vacuum the carpet. Do NOT think that your job at R. A. Siegel will be as it says on job description. Managers will ask you to work on their work and when it is time to submit the work, they will claim it as it is their own. In 2013 alone I have seen at least 11 people leave company. And guess what, there are total of only 25-26 people in the whole building including warehouse and management. And currently 80% of the employees are looking for a new job, including people started just 2-3 months ago. Good luck to you if you are still brave enough to join.
