Aaron Anthony Wohl has carved out an illustrious career in Emergency Medicine, complemented by his compassionate leadership within the community and his multifaceted interests. He resides in North Fort Myers, Florida, where his life's work in medicine and his pursuits reflect an unwavering dedication, robust advocacy, and a continuous quest for knowledge across various disciplines. In his early life, he was nurtured in the vibrant community of Perrine, Florida, where his enthusiasm for connecting with others and his quest for knowledge flourished. Demonstrating resourcefulness, he worked at a pet store in Kendall to finance his flying lessons, achieving his private pilot's license at 17. During his college years, he gained invaluable experience as an emergency room technician at a local hospital, where his father was an emergency nurse.
His academic prowess led him to graduate Magna cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology from Florida International University in 1998. His educational journey flourished at the University of Florida College of Medicine, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class in 2001. He culminated his training with a standout performance as Chief Resident at Orlando Regional Medical Center, being honored with the "Resident of the Year" award in 2004. Following this, he briefly imparted his knowledge as an assistant clinical professor in emergency medicine at Shands UF in Gainesville before transitioning to his role in community emergency medicine in Fort Myers.
Aaron's passions extend beyond the confines of clinical medicine. He is actively involved in many activities ranging from boating and motorcycling to participating in sprint triathlons and engaging in the intricate art of building R/C aircraft. His love for aviation remains a constant in his life, piloting his twin-engine aircraft to various locales across the U.S., the Bahamas, and Cuba. His ambition to share his aviation passion is evident in his pursuit of an instructor's license.
