Josefina Gautreaux-Garcia is a professional tutor who provides academic tutoring and test prep services.
Josefina Gautreaux-Garcia is a professional tutor who lives and works in San Antonio, Texas. Alongside a team of well-qualified education professionals, she offers academic assistance to kids who need it the most. She and her team are qualified to provide assistance to students in Kindergarten, all the way up through high school. Whether the pupil is struggling with a foreign language, science, or another subject, Garcia and her staff of experts provide the support and resources necessary to ensure that child is able to thrive in the classroom. Each individual on staff has a specific area of expertise, and uses this expertise to benefit the students they serve. The tutors have spent time teaching in the classroom, writing papers on these subjects, and working in relevant fields. Therefore, they know exactly how to explain the material.

Josefina Gautreaux-Garcia and her team know that all pupils learn differently. Some do best with repetition, while others learn most effectively in a visual way. For this reason, she and her staff members are committed to finding the strategies that work for the individual pupil they are serving. They are able to employ a variety of techniques as they work. Students are taught in a way that makes sense to them, therefore ensuring total comprehension. Instead of encouraging pupils to simply memorize material then regurgitate it on a test, Garcia and her team teach a child to actually understand what is in front of them. This makes it easier to remember, and also allows that student to hold on to this information for longer.
Josefina Gautreaux-Garcia has a long history of success in the field of education. After completing her bachelor’s degree in education at Purdue University, she then went on to obtain her master’s degree in education from Syracuse University. These two different, but equally prestigious, educational experiences set her up with the knowledge she needed to take control of a classroom. She learned exactly what kinds of techniques work when it comes to educating students, and had the privilege of working with kids of a variety of different backgrounds and age groups. Her educational experience was not strictly based on theory and note taking. She was actually out in the classroom making a difference for her students, and seeing the results of her work firsthand.

Josefina Gautreaux-Garcia landed her first job soon after she completed her education, and became a Spanish teacher for middle school students in Washington, D.C. She realized that she was these kids’ first foray into foreign language, and that she had the ability to instill in them a lifelong love of language. She took this job seriously, and gave her classroom and her students everything she had every day. In fact, she was the only educator in the building who did not take a sick day during her tenure with the school.

Eventually, due to her husband’s new job, Josefina relocated to San Antonio, where she landed another job in a public school there. She quickly fell in love with the area, and she and her husband decided that this community would be the perfect place to build a life and raise a family. However, though she loved San Antonio, Garcia was not completely sold on her job. She found that teachers did not get the support they needed to thrive in the classroom, a fact that she found disheartening. For this reason, after several years in the school, Josefina realized that she could find a different way to serve her pupils most effectively. She explored a few different options, and soon realized that there was a great demand for tutoring services in this area.

Relying upon her own educational background, as well as the strong network of educators that she had built up in San Antonio itself, she was able to pull together a team of highly talented and passionate teachers who wanted to take on the role of a tutor. These people take their job seriously, and were glad to be able to bypass the traditional educational environment in order to work directly with the students to assist with any academic issues that they are up against.

Though the tutoring service started in a modest fashion, soon the reputation of the business was quickly bringing in new business from all over the area. Students came from far and wide to reap the benefits of the knowledge that Josefina Gautreaux-Garcia and her team had to offer. This passion and dedication on the part of the students and their parents quickly caught the attention of other tutors, who soon expressed their interest in having the ability to work with such eager learners. Eventually, the team of staff members that Josefina employed was growing just as quickly as the client base.

Together, Josefina Gautreaux-Garcia and her staff members provide a diverse range of services to students in need. Whether a pupil is struggling with fourth grade math, middle school Spanish, or A.P. Literature, these professionals are ready to assist. They also provide highly valuable test preparation services. The SAT and ACT exams put a lot of pressure on students, and the team of tutors has the skills necessary to get students ready, allowing them to perform their best on these college entrance exams. They work with young people, helping them to understand how to read the questions on the test (which are written in a unique manner) while also enabling them to learn how to combat test anxiety. The SAT and ACT exams are far different from a normal quiz a student would face in social studies class, and Josefina and her team know how to approach them accordingly, thus ensuring great success for that student.
Josefina Gautreaux-Garcia is highly passionate about her line of work, and is thrilled to have started a business that improves the lives of students in the San Antonio area. She is glad to be able to help clear up confusion, eliminate frustration, and boost self-confidence for the students she serves. Garcia realizes how devastating academic struggles can be. They can shatter a kid’s confidence, make them act out in school, and cause them to lose interest in learning entirely. She is glad to be able to intervene when these problems occur, thus allowing her pupils to remain happy and productive in an educational setting. Even if a subject may have seemed nearly impossible for that student to conquer before, Garcia and her team are able to come in and quickly eliminate the confusion. They leave parents and students feeling very grateful, and ready to sing the company’s praises.

Josefina Gautreaux-Garcia hopes to continue to grow her business in the years to come. This includes continuing to add to her team of highly qualified tutors, while also expanding her client base. In fact, one of Garcia’s ultimate goals is to open another location somewhere else in the state of Texas. She often gets requests from parents or students about traveling to their home in order to provide tutoring services. While she does not currently travel at this time, she hopes that opening another branch will allow her to serve a wider group of young people who are in need of assistance.
